A Man's Best Friend!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a doggy edition of The Oz Files. Today's topic was inspired by one Erich Michael Miller. He has another topic on tap but he has to get his questions set to do this topic stay tuned. For today's blog the topic is about dogs. Question one Why are dogs a man's best friend? Would you let your best friend take a crap on your living room floor? Would you have your best friend spade or neutered? Do we really know what lassie was saying? So to answer the first question why is a dog considered a man's best friend? I think it's branded this way because men loves sports and they need a companion to join them in there satisfaction. Dogs are a man's best friend because his other friends have dogs too. Women's best friend are diamonds so there ya go folks! Question number two would I let my best friend take a crap on the living room floor? The answer is a resounding hell to the no. Unless they want to clean that crap up literally and pay for carpet cleaning. Whatever they do is none of my business accept your not taking a crap on the freaking floor! Question number three would I have them spade or neutered? Yes because I don't want to see anymore of them running around now that would be a scary sight. Finally question four do we know what lassie said? I don't think we can really tap into the dog language. However I think Lassie RIP was a great show and a great dog because she loved her Timmy! A Cat Story For All Ages!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a cat story edition of The Oz Files. This weeks blog theme is none other than the great animal kingdom. Today's blog topic may take us back to elementary school the good ole days can ya dig? So Leah and her mickey mouse ears hat came up with the topic tonight. I come home from work and my cats start talking to moi. How surprising would that be? What would I talk about with my cats? Would I try to make my cats famous? Oz walks through the door and he sees his two cats jazzy and pistol and usually he sees them meowing endlessly however this night was not like all other nights. When Oz sat down to watch Sportscenter the cats starting to talk in a language that even Oz could comprehend. It wasn't southern drawl and it wasn't prepaid talk it was none other than the English language. They were saying Ozzie why do you always chase around the house? My reaction was jaw dropping and a little confused to see why these cats found the inner power to talk like humans. I told them because I like to scare them and make them get a good workout. How surprising would it be to hear cats talking to you like real people? First off I would wonder how on God's green earth did this happen? Also, why did they choose this day to start talking to me and is this a temporary thing or is this miraculous sign a permanent thing. What would I talk to my cats about? First off I'd talk to Pistol and ask him why he keeps pooping on the floor? He's been doing this for the past few years and he has been potty trained he's an old cat. We would also talk about if he enjoys it when I pull on his tail once in a while and why does he meow constantly? As for Jazzy the cute younger one I would ask her why she meows for no reason? Also why does she play in the cat litter? Would I make my cats famous? Hmm I'd probably put them on Youtube and then get national press coming my way for these amazing cats. Then I'd hit the road and these cats would go on the road and go on a comedy tour and then a music tour. That's right dudes and dudets they are multi talented they can do stand up comedy and they can sing like there owner! So there ya have it these are the thoughts of Oz on the cats. Leftovers A Plenty!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a leftovers edition of The Oz Files! Today is the last day of the food themed week so I'm going with none other than leftovers. What are the best leftovers to devour and partake? How long is too long before leftovers have to go to the garbage disposal in the sky? What are some of the worst leftovers to devour and partake? How many days of the same leftovers can be tolerated? Finally would you ever mix leftovers with fresh food? For starters how great are leftovers? Seriously leftovers are amazing because you can eat the night before and if you get full you don't have to throw food away you can just save it and have more the next couple days. It's a food saver some people are make the world green and I'm like um save me some food it's called food conservation. In my opinion the best leftovers without a shadow of a doubt is leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. You can make turkey sandwiches, use the turkey for soup or enjoy turkey in it's natural form. Is there really any bad leftovers? The answer is yes there is some pizza that isn't good after the first day. Example the panormous pizza from pizza hut is only good for a few hours then it goes Stale and I usually get sick so I don't have the pizza after 1 day of ordering so you better down that pizza down on that first day or else your in for a torcher chamber. How many days are leftovers good for? It all depends what the food is but in most cases a good rule of thumb is no longer than three days. If you go over the three day mark then you might be in trouble. Finally can you really combine leftovers with fresh food? Well I'm sure you can but my take on it is don't do it because you might ruin the chemistry with the old and the young. Well these are my thoughts and concerns on leftovers! Good Morning Time For Breakfast!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a breakfast edition of The Oz Files. Today's blog topic was thunk buy a lady at work Evangeline Johnson and today's topic is going to discuss breakfast food. What is my favorite breakfast foods? What are my not so favorite breakfast foods? What do I love to drink for breakfast? Do I like my breakfast hot or cold? Finally what is the best place to go for a good breakfast? Breakfast is probably the most important meal of the day and a lot of people including myself forget to have breakfast. Yes I know it's a sad day in the land of Oz and let's turn those frowns upside down lock it in people! One of my favorite breakfast food has to be pancakes wow who doesn't love pancakes? I love them with or without syrup because the taste of pancakes gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside my soul. I love the IHOP butterscotch pancakes they are sooooooooooooo EPIC. I also enjoy some good oatmeal and also waffles are definitely a delectable delight. Cereal is pretty good love rice krispies and finally I also love biscuits and gravy what a great combo! I think some not so groovy breakfast foods are peaches, apples for the most part and apple sauce is like BLAH! What do I drink for breakfast? My all time favorite thing to drink for breakfast is the good ole fashion OJ the orange juice reigns supreme milk is good too! I prefer my breakfast to be a hot one but cold breakfast is good in moderation. Finally the best place to go for breakfast is down to IHOP or Denny's yes you can't go wrong with either one. Gotta Love The BBQ!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a BBQ edition of The Oz Files. Summer time is just around the corner and one of the great American traditions is about to happen all across this great nation. What is this great tradition? It's BBQ a little BBQ never hurt anyone and I will be talking about some great BBQ delights. What are my favorite BBQ treats? What are my least favorite BBQ treats? What's good to drink at a BBQ? What sort of activities do I enjoy at a good ole fashion BBQ? Finally what are my thoughts on BBQ sauce? BBQ is huge down in the south and from what I hear they do a damn good job at the BBQ prowess. I think what they do down south is the BBQ ribs with smothering of BBQ sauce and probably lots of chicken and beer. What are Oz's favorite BBQ tasty treats? My all time favorite BBQ food is a nice double cheeseburger with all the fixings minus the tomato. The taste of a BBQ hamburger is something to savor I think it's what they call BBQ divinity. I also like BBQ hot dogs wow those are sooo goood and very juicy. Just put some mustard, relish and onions and hold the ketchup and sauerkraut. I really enjoy the solid chips that are always showing up at BBQ. What are some BBQ treats I do not like as much? Well BBQ chicken isn't on the top of the list but if it's on a plate I'll eat it and I'll devour. It's pretty good but it can't beat the above tasty treats. Without a doubt the most hated loathed BBQ food is potato salad. Yuck that stuff makes me yack so my family tries to tease me with the potato salad yuck yuck and yuck! While your eating at the BBQ I think you may grow thirsty. I tend to enjoy the kooloaid and lemonade at a BBQ. Some people like beer and other drinks but you can't go wrong with lemonade and koolaid! A good BBQ has some fun activities and I will share my favorite activities. I really enjoy playing volleyball at a nice BBQ when I play the volleyball at a BBQ the competitive juices get flowing ya dig! I also love hitting the birdie around in a circle with badminton racquet's that's always a good time at my aunts house! Played in the rain for several hours at the Easter BBQ party wow that was such an epic time! What are my thoughts of BBQ sauce. It's simple I don't like it and I don't care for it which is the same thing. I think the taste of BBQ sauce is foul but many people love it more power to ya! I do have a story to tell about a BBQ years ago in good ole Rockford Washington USA. We were having a BBQ and I go make my hamburger and get everything on the bun. I go sit down and look down at my pathetic plate and I realize I forgot to grab the most important part and that was the hamburger! Let's Go To The Fair!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a fair edition of The Oz Files. So today's topic was chosen through twitter tweet tweet. Oz just asks what food blog do you want to see @lynziloo replies fair food so yes we are doing fair food today. So today's blog is going to cover food at the fair, What is my favorite fair food? What is the worst fair food? What is my favorite beverage at the fair? What is my favorite thing about the fair a little off topic yep? Finally what do I think of the prices of fair food? Every year families across this great nation gather to the county and state fairs. You have the rides, entertainment oh and my favorite the FOOD! There are several food venues at the fair. You can basically get any food you want you ask and you shall receive. I like the pizza, Chinese, elephant ears, funnel cakes, subway and the list goes on and on. I almost broke out in song with the lamb chop play a long song it's the song that never ends! Ha, well to answer the first question what is my favorite food of the fair? The answer is simple friends the one the only strawberry funnel cake. This isn't a debate this is the truth that Oz has sent down to this blog universe. A funnel cake powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, whip cream ohhhhhhhhh so tasty! I had two of them in the same day what a rush that was! Can there actually be a bad tasting food of the fair? I don't think so there are different strokes for different folks a shout out to Gary Coleman whatchya talkin about lews! What is my favorite beverage of the fair? That's an easy one the bottomless lemonade oh my goodness way too solid for my own good. What is my favorite part about the fair? I think my favorite part of the fair is eating the great food and watching the terrible bands perform! I don't think they know they are way off tune. What do I think of the prices of food at the fair? The food is reasonably prices and you get bang for your buck. The food is tasty and so is the "scenery" lots of good grade A "talent"! Well I haven't been to the fair in awhile but I'm sure the food rivals Pig Out At The Park so that's what I went by. What do you think of food of the fair? Save Room For Dessert!

Hey friends it's Oz here for a dessert edition of The Oz Files. So now it's time for round two of the The Oz Files food edition. So this blog will be talking about our favorite part of every meal dessert. Why is dessert so amazingly sweet? What is my favorite dessert of all time? Are there any desserts that I do not like and if so why? What is the best kind of dessert? Finally what is the best place for dessert in town? Ok, why is dessert so amazingly sweet? Well first of all dessert in general is a sweet treat so that's makes logical sense. Any type of dessert is good for the soul. We got pies, cakes, brownies, cupcakes, ice cream and so many more. The other reason why dessert is so sweet is that you can enjoy it then regret it later when you tip the scales. What is my favorite dessert? Well this is a very tough call but I'm gonna go with the carrot cake from Swinging Doors. The piece they gives you covers the plate and Oz once again demolishes and conquers. I love pie of all kinds and ice cream, cakes and brownies and all the American classics. Can there really be a dessert that Oz doesn't like? I think we have an answer, the answer is yes and I have to say that the dessert I most despise is apple pie. Um I like apples sometimes but having apples in pie is definitely not a good combination. The taste is foul and it's uncalled for and I don't think I have to stand for this. It might be un American but that's how I roll peeps! The best kinds of desserts is pie and cake enough said! The best place for desserts in town drum roll please... Red Robin or The Peacock Lounge at the Davenport Hotel. Mile high sundae cake whatever it's called is really really good at the Robin.
